I am an environmental guide of the Po Delta Park and, while exploring it with my wife Sarah, I instinctively look for the variety of birds that inhabit it.

  • “Sarah, look at the heron!”
  • “Did you see the avocet?”
  • “Have you noticed the flamingos?”
  • She normally gets back to me in two different ways, either with a blank look or misleading me with her sweet eyes.

And rightly so! With her pragmatism, she is the one taking care of all the green features of the Ponticello, turning many aspects of our business into concrete environmentally sustainable actions.

  • We do our best to use organic and local produce as much as possible.
  • We almost completely got rid of single serving plastic packaging.
  • We are AIC certified [Associazione Italiana Celiachia – Italian Association for Coeliac Disease] and we can provide gluten free breakfast. We also offer vegetarian and dairy free breakfast options, always paying attention to food intolerances.
