Feel free
As.
There is no half-board, you are at liberty to relish new flavours every day: all the (trattorie) taverns and restaurants of Comacchio are within 300m from us.

The shallow waters of the Delta and the sand caressing the entire basin are the source of our cuisine’s delicacies .

Your taste buds and our friendly advice will guide you to choosing the best taverns and restaurants of Comacchio, and specialty shops where you can relax and taste our flavors.

Eel, clams, asparagus, rice, wines grown in the sandy soil are some of the ingredients used in our dishes, and I assure you, you’ll love them.

Comacchio

Trattoria Giulia Vasco like al Ponticello is recommended by the Slow Food Guide.

Run by 2 sisters, Irene and Helen in the kitchen and dining room offering the best dishes of Comacchio adding a professional touch gained from years of schooling.

The eel in all its variations is the star of their menu.  As a good starter, I recommend  the clam soup – it’s delicious.

Excellent home-made desserts and a selection of wines and, as an aperitif home-made rum distilled by their uncle Antonio, owner of the historic Bar Ragno.

Trattoria La Barcaccia as al Ponticello is recommended by the Michelin Red Guide.

The brothers Sandro and Sainte are second generation of the family who offer you traditional Comacchio dishes.

Otherwise, there are non-strictly traditional dishes such as shrimp and radicchio involtini (rolls) on the menu.

If you would like to have la Catalana (a hearty dish made with shellfish and vegetables), and crudités, booking is essential.

Trattoria del Borgo is located just off the Trepponti.
In a temperate spring you can dine outside on the little street, the only people who pass are either on their bicycles or are tourists like you.

Ristorante La Comacina is the latest-born restaurant in Comacchio where you can eat on a platform-boat built over the canal.
